In Greek Mythology there is Tartarus. Catholics also have Purgatory . Sort of a waiting room for heaven apparently.

@SaintSovereign I got a deeper question for you. Idk what’s going on with me right now but the nature of reality itself has me pondering some stuff.
I know we can’t alter our past and the experiences we have had shape who we are. But do you feel like your presence and building in the physical served as a foundation for the spiritual you’re focused on now? Or was it more of a parallel path that ultimately provided an experience, but didn’t translate to what you were really seeking?
I think in life there’s a tendency to stack goals and solutions within the current paradigm we operate from that seems like a truth. But sometimes it’s just its own little universe with its own set of rules. The rules still hold weight as long as you subscribe to them. It seems like very often you can end up subscribing to a set of rules that don’t serve you. Sometimes we put so much time and effort into something, letting it go to make space for something else can be like dealing with loss. Sometimes that fear of losing something can cause us to hold onto it and cause us to miss out on what we’re really looking for deep down.
Sorry if I’m rambling, I’m trying to articulate what I mean here but the words aren’t coming across how I want.
