People forgetting what we talked about when changing subs

Hi,

I noticed that when I change subs people I met recently don’t remember almost anything we talked about when I was using the previous subs.

My theory is that this might be because they saw me as a different person, so their subconscious think they’re talking to someone different now.

Anyone else noticed this?

It’s interesting, I don’t think I’ve noticed anything like that

Not noticed that @SuperSaiyan I don’t believe this has anything to do with the subs. Perhaps they are just forgetful ?

Wait. I have.

I don’t think people forget, I think people just don’t associate the previous thing with you as much.

When our state of mind changes, we perceive the same thing / person differently - atleast this is what I’ve found.

Some people who are quite adept at Neville-style “revision” have reported stuff like that.
I suppose it could be the same underlying mechanisms that lead to it in both cases.

Yes. I can attest to this.

Yeah, this tracks.

I’ve also seen it from the other side. I put a family member on a sub, and I had this funny sensation where I began to reinterpret hurtful things that they did or said in a positive way.

So, from the other side, I never forgot about what they said or did, it’s just that the changes within them made it feel less relevant and I kinda was able to forgive and move on without much thought.

I have of course seen it from others toward me also, but it all makes a lot more sense if you see it happen because someone you know is on subliminals, lol.

That too.

And that.
