Casanova definitely never used money to seduce. He might’ve been generous and extravagant, but that’s just how he was. He never (based on my reading of him) would’ve used money to seduce, that’s super low-level guy who has no seduction skills (which isn’t a bad thing necessarily; anyone can improve if willing).
Money itself is not an aphrodisiac, it does not give us boners or make girls wet. It’s the IMPLICATIONS of a man who has money that turns a woman on (he’s resourceful, has his sh*t together, goes for what he wants probably, responsible, patient probably, has security, a reputation probably, etc.). That’s what I make of it.

There is a famous story where a woman expected him to try and seduce her with money, it involved a very expensive dress. He was so utterly disgusted by her behavior that he roasted her and left. Lol.
