Sick. Probably going to try and hold off until closer to Summer actually for this one, as winters have became “grind mode” season for work, but definitely going to have a WB-Summertime season soon

Summertime will go well with pretty much everything. I don’t think it will soften Emperor’s vibe, but being that “fun, summertime” vibe to it.

This is awesome, I historically ruin a lot of progress in the summer from running “fun subs” that lead me to focus more on women/partying, etc.
Having something lighter to balance fun in the summer with my work goals sounds exactly like what I’m looking for.

This reminds me when I was young and trouble free. Had real hope and excitement for the future. No real burdens, no heavy responsibilities. Just loving life and having fun by myself and with my friends. It reminds me of being young at heart, living laughter, having adventures, and experiencing joyful times.
I hope this has some “young at heart” scripting as many of us who are older and have been battered by life with sorrow, disappointments, and difficulties have lost that “young in heart” energy and joy of life.
Thinking about this reminds me of that scene in The Breakfast Club when they are all sitting on the floor sharing when the one chick says “When you grow up your heart dies”. That concerned me a lot when I was younger, as I never wanted my “heart” to die, but as I am now older (almost 55 now) I realize in many ways my “heart” has suffered greatly, almost shriveled up and dry.
I want to remain “young in heart” and this sub feels like it would go a long way to help in this manner. To enjoy life again and to rejuvenate one’s heart and joy regardless of age and battle scars.

One of the things I have learned over the years for myself is that joy seems to make everything work well. When I buckle down, get super serious and try to work really hard on something there seems to be a lot of internal resistance regardless of what it is. But when I let go and “just have fun with it” things just seem to go so smoothly and is much more enjoyable.
This title may actually be an incredible booster for any other sub (at least for me). I’m really looking forward to this!!!

I’m running DRR because I want to, well regenerate myself.
I decided to do that because one day I pondered and asked myself, when was the last time I truly felt happy? Truly felt joy? Genuinely felt thankful that I am alive? Enjoyed life?
And I couldn’t remember. It’s been that long. And that’s not right.
That youthful exuberance, how I miss it.
Burnout is a sneaky thing.
Sure I still have obligations and areas to fix, but man, I sure as heck would be far more energized if I felt life is in summertime

When I worked with a trading performance psychologist is his psychological model he used the Jungian archetypes.
For a while we talked about the lover archetype. In the context of trading he talked about it as being a part of you that you need to develop in order to be an effective trader. Especially in the world of trading that is very cutthroat and can chew you up cut you down and make you feel like crap. If you dont have love for the discipline of trading and it brings you joy it will make it very hard to be successful.
I think this is aplicable to everything. In fact its one of the main reason I decided to start love bomb to create a love for myself and everything in the world around me. Summertime could be a great extension to that. Really looking forward to reading the copy.

Transcending joy from achievement. I hope it will come with a healthy amount of detachment and letting go of forcing outcomes in favor of accepting surprises and natural unfolding of events.

Soon. Much of it was complete. We were sitting on it until later in ZPU’s development, but recent societal events and things here on the forum compelled us to push it forward. With this tension between ZPv2 and ZPU occurring, we decided to just take a step back and analyze. Now, I know the majority of people are enjoying ZPU-tech, but we are not ones to “leave behind” people just because they have their thoughts on ZPU and how they are interacting with it.
So, we realized that the issue we were dealing with was a good thing. It is a good thing where a customer enjoys a product so much that an upgrade that feels different triggers frustration. It means we did a job well done with the earlier versions and we need to respect and honor that. Now, we are faced with this tension between our desire to push forward aggressively and the needs of ALL customers (helping with the best of our ability).
I think it may have been @Parsifal who made a comment that resonated with us. The comment was along the lines of “I had just gotten used to the way things were, and it almost feels like my new shiny toy is being changed again.”
Ok. That landed. I’ve experienced things like that in life with software, where the new version changed up so much that I bailed. Software in question, Final Cut Pro X. I was in love with the original Final Cut, but when Apple changed it for the FCPX series, I bailed for Adobe Premiere – even though FCPX is superior in technology, Premiere had a similar interface to what I was used to.
So, we’re not “slowing down” in the sense of turning back. Instead, we decided to see if we can help people understand this new “feel” of ZPU by releasing a title with no baggage. No demands. No disruptions to the stack. Just pure fun and relaxation. Summertime will have Adaptive Scripting, Anti-Recon and all the ZPU-tech. This means, just like the other titles, you will be able to consciously activate features at will, or run the title as you always have.
I believe this will give everyone a lot more information to work with (including us) without the specter of “how does this compare in feel to the older version.”
