Scripting to make the listener “rejection-proof”. This could be incorporated into the NEW True Sell as well

@SaintSovereign @Fire

The subs you crafted with minimal input from the community were some of the best you’ve ever made—raw, pure, and brilliant. Take Minds Eye, for example; it was a masterpiece of subliminal art. Now, with the upgrade, it’s as if the soul was diluted with a sea of suggestions, and the magic that once existed is barely a shadow. It’s frustrating to witness the shift. I don’t want to sound harsh, but sometimes less truly is more—fewer voices, but clearer vision.

Civilization 7 comes out soon. Never been the biggest fan of this series, but I decided that I might just give it a try. So, I go to look at the reviews. And the critics are largely tearing this to shreds. But if you pay close attention to what these “critics” are complaining about, the major theme is that the game feels “simpler” than past iterations. I saw one reviewer complain about the interface, saying it looks too “sleek” for a Civilization game, almost like an former Apple designer made it.

And I looked at all those reviews and saw the complaints for exactly what they were: a subtle form of elitism. Their complaints were about accessibility. They’re annoyed because this franchise isn’t just “for them” anymore.

You’ll notice this in any company who starts to open their horizons a bit, figure out a way to communicate the value of their product to those who don’t fit the “perfect” marketing avatar. Whenever the company simplifies – and even if it’s only in the messaging (because Zero Point has NOT become simpler) – the concepts to attract new people, others begin to complain that the “soul” is gone.

Limitless: Mind’s Eye is the best of Limitless and the best of the original Mind’s Eye, now working in harmony. I personally considered it a work of art, given how tight the script is, how each feature flows into the other like a unified whole.

And yet, we have a few people complaining about how the “soul” is gone from the copy or title, etc. And yet, Zero Point has actually become more complex. The only thing we did was adjust the copy so that people would know exactly what concepts and features they’ve been exposed to.

And I get it, for those who live their lives like art, the philosophical copy style has such an appeal – one that most people don’t understand. I do, since I mostly wrote those and as a researcher of the effects of language in their personal reality and how that affects the larger collective reality (since that’s one of the things subliminal audio ACTUALLY is), I prefer the deep-thought provoking style as well.

So, we started the hybrid copy style. But we have still received complaints about that as well. Someone mentioned that the failure of James Wilson Marshall game them doubts about the product. But I had asked a philosophical question:

The ecstasy of gold — both the concept and the title — is about honesty and looking within. Mr. James Marshall died broke, even after his discovery sparked a nationwide transformation. Was it because he put his faith in external gold and what it could do for him rather than the gold that’s within?

That last line was the intended “key” of the philosophical message of the copy. I left it there for contemplation purposes. Some people like that. Others do not. Others would prefer that i have said:

The ecstasy of gold — both the concept and the title — is about honesty and looking within. Mr. James Marshall died broke, even after his discovery sparked a nationwide transformation. Was it because he put his faith in external gold and what it could do for him rather than the gold that’s within? Yes. That’s exactly what happened. Mr. Marshall didn’t know how to capitalize off the movement he started. He thought the gold itself was the product. But, he should’ve bought land, built houses and rented them to the 49ers, sold them food, etc.

Does the second response “lack soul,” or did it simply provide a practical answer for those who simply thinks differently? Who wins in this war of ideologies? Those who consider themselves philosophical, or those who are more practical.

We like a good challenge. We decided that we’d figure out how to spoke to BOTH.

We aren’t just taking random suggestions and weaving them together. We are taking suggestions and looking for themes, then applying our own research to it – just as we always have. The products have not changed. Only the presentation.

And as with everything we do, we launch it MVP style – minimum viable product. Then we refine based upon customer feedback. With every new title, we refine the copy. If you’ve been reading all the new releases, you can see the evolution of the copy and the approach to the titles.

But one thing we absolutely won’t do is stop taking customer feedback and incorporating them into the titles. That would assume that @Fire and myself are some kind of sages, who have some kind of infinite wisdom that only we have. We are not philosopher kings. We are researchers and analysts creating products that serve the current needs of the collective. And that is the keyword – collective.

There is no Subliminal Club without feedback. If we stopped considering feedback, we would be here only in name, a shell of what we were and what we aspire to become. “Infinite diversity in infinite combinations,” says the Vulcan. And that’s what we aim to tap into.

We’ll get everything right. Remain patient.

@SaintSovereign, how would you want True Social to be different from Daredevil? While TS was a little booster in the past, it seems this will be a full complex title of its own.

@aaa is a G and a great community member.

It’s okay to ask questions as long as we’re open to learning from the responses to those questions.

I would like to see flow state in this one—the state you get into after just approaching everyone, messing around, and having fun.

And also, assume rapport so approaches don’t feel as cold. And, of course, massive relaxation, since that’s kinda where it arises from.

And some groundedness in the flow state. This might just be me, though, as when I get into a complete flow, I bounce around like a rubber ball, talking to people without allowing connections to deepen.

Whatever you decide, this might be the one I start running when I get back into dating more again and socialing events

Absolutely this. Nothing wrong with @aaa’s question - it did make us think more deeply about the creation process and generated some interesting ideas for future titles. As @SaintSovereign said, we strive to merge both - creative freedom and our own instincts and creativity, with the will, feedback and ideas of the community.

Remember, both criticism and tough questions are welcome, as long as they are respectful and without hidden ulterior motives. If you’re asking out of a position of good will and a desire for greatness, I promise you - you will be heard.

And, even if our response might be one of rejection, I guarantee you that we held an in-depth talk on it regardless and the good sides of the argument have been extracted.

We are researchers, analysts, scientists of the mind and reality - give us data and it will be considered.

I find that all products from Subliminalclub are a masterpiece and I want to see more.

First off, thanks to @SaintSovereign and @Fire for taking the time to respond so in depth—I really do appreciate that you’re willing to engage with the community’s concerns. I understand the challenge of balancing creative vision with community feedback—it’s not always straightforward. My main concern is ensuring the original spark that made titles like Mind’s Eye so captivating remains intact, even as new ideas and suggestions shape future releases. I’m not against change; I just hope the unique, “magical” essence isn’t lost in the process. I look forward to seeing how you continue refining and growing these products.

I have to admit growing up as a child one of challenges i faced was wanting to speak up. Yet not being able to find the right words or knowing what to say.

This was down to parents saying no no we are right you are wrong. This happened throughout my childhood and late into my 20s. I was harshly punished when speaking out.

Limitless helpes alot however on the rare occasions even now this does come back and haunt me. So it would be nice to have something in DD to overcome thingsikw this.

StarkOG does help but need a stronger dose of the caffine to make it stick hence if we can do this in DD it would be great.

This happened for me too with Stark when I first ran it (as Stark Terminus). I felt myself much more eager, willing, and open to speak up.

That build, Stark Terminus, really did feel like I’d ingested caffeine.

That was years ago, but I still remember it. It was the reason I started ordering everything in Terminus or Terminus Squared build for 3 years. Once ZP came, I decided to go back to Standard and grow with that for a while. But I am thinking again.

Thats very interesting @Malkuth for me the StarkOG/Limitless has been an absolute game changer. I can only imagine adding in the new DD could take things to a whole new level. I remember now Saint did relase an experimental Stark terminus years ago and it was f**king amazing. I am happy with my existing StarkOG/Limitless. Do you feel any benefit would be gained from getting it upgraded to the new bleeding edge build.

One thing I have found is that if i execute this custom stacked alongside any other major it amplifies it i dont know why.

It sounds like this combo works great for you. That’s a good use case for testing out the new features because you have nothing to lose. Also, since the original works so well, you’ll have a very clear baseline for gauging any enhancement or improvement.

So I would allow economics to decide. If this is a good time to spend $135 ( minus your code discount) on a potentially beneficial experiment then I’d do it. If not, wait until later and enjoy the treasure that you already have.

Or wait until you feel that you’ve hit a plateau (if you haven’t already).

But it’ll be a good opportunity to see how you respond to name-embedding. And possibly Terminus.

A big focus on friendship.

While every title has inner circle and a part of manifesting the right people, I think there isn’t a title that truly dwells deep into the topic of friendship.

Confrontation scripting (having the guts and actively seeking out to talk about difficult but important things directly with others)

Also the down to earth status scripting of Commander would be cool :sunglasses: So that others don’t loose respect for you. As much as I loved True Social it brought out sometimes too much of my inner clown
