I don’t think many would argue with this view.
Myself included.
Who knows? In 10 years, maybe the average person will come to Subliminal Club and go through an evaluation and measurement process that results in defining/designing one bespoke subliminal that they use for the next 6 months to 1 year.
That seems a little weird, but it’s not impossible.
But I’m still wondering how much of this is about sub organization and how much of it is an ‘inside job’ (i.e., subject to the ways that we organize our perceptions).
I know that, originally, I used to think of Stage 4 as the “goal” of a multistage subliminal. My first ever purchase at Sub Club was a multi-stager, and I was very intent on reaching Stage 4 because I was framing it as the destination of the program. Typically, in those early days, my plan would be ‘I’ll listen to Stages 1, 2, and 3 for [such and such amount of time] then when I get to STage 4, I’ll lock it in and the sky’s the limit!’
I remember a little later listening to Alchemist and Quantum Limitless with the goal of creating a custom around stage 4 of both programs. “3 months per stage, and then stage 4 indefinitely!”
It was fun, many things happened, I enjoyed it. But now I approach things completely differently.
Last year, for example, I listened to Ecstasy of Gold stage I for a year. I was not ‘being patient’ or ‘resisting the impulse to continue to the next stage’. It was that that aspect of EoG functionality felt like exactly what I needed. I don’t know if or when I’ll play EoG 4. If my life and my mind feel right for it then I will.
But these days, I’m thinking more in terms of where I am and what I want or need. And letting things evolve from there.
Emperor Fitness was the first completely non-sequence based multi-stage program. And (I think) it really helped us to start thinking differently about how to engage with multi-stagers. In that case it was less of a multi-stager and more just a multi-part subliminal or multi-faceted subliminal.
Now we have 2 stagers and maybe one day 3-stagers
The benefit seems to be that multi-part subliminals allow greater breadth and more refined specialization within a unified theme.
So maybe one place things are evolving to is to have a more generic part or stage. And to then have other more specialized parts or stages.
As @Bull_of_Shiva_999 said, much more concisely:
It’s all pretty intriguing.
Just think, there’s an alternate timeline where Emperor Reforged is stage 1 of a multistage Emperor subliminal.

It was just a thought.
Yes.
Now with Adaptive Scripting being part of the mix and baked into all ZPU programs, there seems to be more possibility for this. I guess there are still limits to what the current version of Adaptive Scripting can do, though? And it’s probably still a good idea to choose a program, or the level of a multi-stage program, that seems to match reasonably well with where you are, what you want, and what actions you are ready to take at this time.
Dunno. We’ll see.
