lol – It’s under control. qOS does not answer automatically. @Fire and I are personally running it. If it gets out of hand, we’ll scale it back, direct longer or repeated questions to support.
We will tag it in the forum? @qOS
Oh, now i see. So we go in each title main thread and ask there something related.
Tag qOS on the forum.i think the best place to do so is in your journal if you have one. Else the main thread of the title, module pack, etc that’s related to the question.
-
Is there any chance that qOS questions and replies can be limited to a dedicated thread, subforum, or even DM?
-
Do you have any recommendations on when to use qOS vs. when to open a support ticket?
3 instances I can think of when support answers are more useful:
- When you want answers to questions that require more of a human element. Support can think on the question and give their input as well. Including if Fire and Saint are there.
- If you want an answer to a private question.
- If you want to ask a follow up question. Your ticket has a thread where the context can be determined based on the multiple questions and answers in the ticket thread.
I think qOS is useful for quick answers to questions related to combining titles and modules. And for a more detailed explanation of them individually or together.
Thanks @Lion, I appreciate the breakdown and am also assuming you have pretty good insight here since you’re a forum ambassador.
Particularly this last point.

qOS may be a fantastic replacement for the beta stack explorer feature in this regard.
EDIT: and I’d like to reiterate that it would be nice to see a dedicated qOS part of the forum if possible, especially based on what you’ve said. Obviously just my opinion, but I’d rather the product discussion threads return to a focus on sharing results and experiences on the subs than asking about stacks and theory.
It is far too early for anyone to make any determination over where and how the qOS account should post. The pilot just launched yesterday, and I only answered five questions as of yet.
If an issue arises, we will deal with it. I want to remind everyone that this is not a bot. It is an inbox. @Fire and myself are physically logged into this account from our support software. We are choosing what questions to answer – whether using qOS or not in the response – and whether to redirect an inquiry to support.
Experiences and results are important, yes – but with ZPU, understanding how a stack operates is just as equally important. They contain a lot of good information regarding how a title operates and how it operates with other titles.
We are keeping a close eye on things.
Use qOS in the same manner it was being used before. Simple questions, stack questions, custom evaluations. Long, multi-faceted questions will be redirected to support.
Maybe make qOS a PM only thing after full automation.
The art of war would would stack well with Hero Origins i believe. What would be the result would it enhance my skills ?
Yeah, loving this
There’s a few interesting questions being asked that might not have been shared on forum unless someone shared what they got from support
We will not be doing that. There is not even a problem right now. We have barely answered any questions, and we’ve been using qOS publicly for months now. Nothing has changed except I put it on its own account linked to a shared inbox so @Fire and myself can track requests and questions, since we have received complaints that their questions were missed on the forum. That is all.
It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet, so I see no reason to adjust anything until I have more information on how this system is even being used.
I think he meant that so each thread doesn’t have tons of qos comments lol
Third option.

I am using that for some occastions
just pitched in an idea boss, i do not really mind that posts at all too…
It’s okay, we welcome feedback and ideas. @Fire and I are about to have our weekly planning session, so you’ve caught me in my “highly focused and direct mood.” We are not frustrated.
But, for lighter news – one of the major topics of today’s session is finalizing Heartsong.

Finalizing the script? the copy?
Both. The script is finished, @Fire is doing his evaluation. The copy is more difficult. Believe it or not, in the ZPU-era, since we have standardized everything with a beautifully flowing process, the copy is often harder to write than the script itself.
Oh. Is this because it is still in testing phase?
How will we know whether our qOS tagged query will bs answered or not after we ask the question?
We’ll always respond with either an answer or a request to submit the question as a ticket. That may arrive through PM if we have a lot of activity.
Everyone – NOTHING has changed. You’re just tagging qOS instead of just myself, @Fire or the Forum Ambassadors. Of course at the beginning, people are going to get excited and ask questions. But, there is nothing to be alarmed about for any reason. These scenarios that people are worried about are just hypotheticals and if there is an issue, we will address it by changing up the system.
But right now, nothing has happened except some people tagged qOS a bit more. We haven’t even looked at today’s inbox today. I’ll answer some personally, others will be posted through qOS. We did that deliberately, so that people could turn those responses on or off through the ignore function.
