It seems like I don’t understand the advantages of name embedded majors yet.

I’m as confused as you are, I expected a small fee to upgrade an already owned major to name embedded.

I don’t see how that makes sense to pay 3 times the price of a major program just for name embedded.

I understand it goes through a third party to build and that cost what it cost but holy that seems expensive comparatively with a classic major for such a small upgrade.

I’m also not complaining, it’s a good thing to have a wider variety of options to build subs.

An alternative proposition. And maybe it wouldn’t be feasible idk, but just a thought.

What about a name embedded interlinking sub you buy once that you can stack with your existing major builds you own? It wouldn’t be as efficient as a direct name embed but it’s something. Something with really neutral prep scripting like relaxation or general well being.

• Zero Point Quantum (+79) – Formerly named “Terminus Squared,” this new build format will eventually replace the current “Zero Point Standard.” It is still a highly experimental build, just as Terminus Squared was, and though it will feel much smoother than Terminus Squared, it’s still for advanced users.

Will this option be coming to QTKS anytime soon? I get outstanding results from QTKS as it is, but wouldn’t mind experimenting with a new build method.

If I build a mini custom with the same core and and four result enhancers (given I own them all already and the build gets approved), including my discount it’s cheaper to build a regular custom.

Not sure I understand. The discount applies to major name embeds as well (just tested it), so it’ll cost you ~$75.

This is incorrect. Please see the following:

Except instead of a CORE (which has some of the support scripting removed in order to make it fit the custom process), this is the full sub, exactly as it would be as if you were just running the major title, except customized. Even though the UI may say “Core” (since it’s just pulling from the product database), Q-Engineer will know to use the “Major Title” machine from the BUILD item on the order receipt.

One question: what if I wanted to pair say Stark Black Major + GLM: Commander Core, would that be the equivalent of combining both Stark Black and GLM:Co? Or would it be Stark Black + the core of GLM:Co which is shorter.

And is it a good combination?
