Main Disc. Thread - Fire vs. Saint Round 4 [The Battle is On!]

@AnswerGroup I have a name-embedded build of GLM and Synergy: At the Top.

What might I expect to be different if I rebuild that after GLM updates? Or is it too early to be able to say?

At this point it almost like asking what’s in new GLM

Hopefully we get to know soon!

And also what’s the new “tech”, or tech advancement used for this new GLM.

Guys you are so much hyped by GLM that you make me want to add it in my stack … :joy: your enthousiasm is contagious.

And so you guys should be! (I’m really feeling this subliminal will be a big hit in the community) IMG_1763

When people refer to a “masculine edge,” they usually mean a distinctive presence or energy that blends strength, assertiveness, and depth—often perceived as attractive, grounded, and confident. It’s not just about appearance or dominance; it’s about having a grounded self-possession and clarity of purpose that sets a man apart.

@SaintSovereign

I think that Iron Frame is rusty by now.

Let’s upgrade it to Tungsten Frame!

Don’t forget Cicero. It’s inspired by both.

I don’t understand what stoic means btw. Is stoic the guy introspective and insensible to émotion? Does he still go for what he wants? Does he follow moralistic world virtues or trends? Is he virtuous or following his own code. Does he pursue his pleasures or only goals? Anything to do with alpha / sigma males? Or like an archetypal Roman king? Is it compatible with WB?
so very curious about the copy

It’s a Hellenistic (Greece before Greece) philosophy based on reason, virtue and living in accordance with nature. At its heart, Stoicism teaches mastery over what you can control (you, your actions and thoughts) and acceptance of what you can’t control (everything else).

Same, how Godlike Masculinity balances the edge, that masculine drive, energy and power with the stoic detachment…

Saint had said there would be AoH scripting in GLM too. That would be cool to experience along with stoicism.

The happy stoic masculinity.

Yeah, what I’m wondering is more the how this will be implemented, and this will affect users.

Sex drive and general drive (like Beast Unleashed masculine drive)?
Happy and sadder emotions?
Desires and ambition? Risk taking?

Very curious to see the how.

To appreciate Stoicism, understand that you are living simultaneously on several levels. But let’s think of two in particular. In any situation, there is what’s happening inside you, in your private world of emotions, perceptions, inner reactions. And there is what all can see from the outside. Your actions, your appearance, your external expression.

Are you with the picture so far?

If we take that picture, then it helps a great deal.

Stoicism is rooted in the first level. The level of the internal private domain. That level is your KINGDOM. Right now. And always.

Over the course of your life, you may extend that kingdom, to include people, places, or organizations outside of you and around you. But the core of your kingdom will always be that internal private domain of your thoughts, feelings, reactions, perceptions, beliefs, inner processes.

In Stoicism, you are going to make it your first priority to learn that kingdom, to master that kingdom, and to rule it wisely and well. And that, in turn, is going to change how you respond to everything else.

Like all high-quality philosophies, this will be an ongoing, lifelong project.

And now we can return to your original questions:

Introspective and insensible to emotion?

Does that sound like wise rulership of the inner world?

Introspective? Yes. Because how can you competently rule a world if you are not even aware of it?

Insensible to emotion? No. Insensibility to the citizens, processes, and forces of your kingdom will result in incompetent rulership. A good ruler is familiar with what is happening under their rule. But they will also not allow any citizen or process to DICTATE their response.

Does he ‘go for what he wants’?

Yes. But ‘what he wants’ is probably not a simplistic matter. So this, too, is an outgrowth and expression of wisdom and vision.

Does he follow moralistic world virtues or trends?

When they align with his or her principles of Rulership then, of course. When they clash with his principles of rulership then, no. But remember we’re talking about a wise ruler, and so the Stoic will be continuously learning, and their principles will be evolving. Thus the principles and positions can change and refine over time.

Is he virtuous or following his own code?

Yes to both. But not two-dimensionally virtuous and not performatively virtuous. She is authentically virtuous. This means that their virtue may or may not be recognized by a ‘viewing audience’. You’re not doing it for applause or external validation.

Does he pursue his pleasures or only goals?

To a person who is internally solid and connected, one of the pleasures of life is to pursue their goals. Does the stoic pursue pleasures and goals? Yes. Are they DICTATED by pleasures and only goals? No.

Anything to do with alpha/sigma males?

Yes. But remember. A healthy child mainly relies and depends on outside forces to determine what is real, what is right, what is good. As the child grows, she gradually takes more and more of that responsibility for herself. This is not just becoming stoic; it is becoming a mature, healthy adult.

Remember that we continue to learn from and understand all of the forces and conditions of life and the world; but what we DON’T do is abdicate responsibility to those forces.

We. Take. Responsibility. For. Our. Lives. In. All. Conditions.

Win or Lose. Strong or Weak. Popular or Unpopular.

In. All. Conditions.

So, we’re not going to be impressive just for the sake of being impressive to others. But we’ll still often be impressive to others anyway.

In other words: Sigma all the time. Alpha sometimes too.

Is it like an archetypal Roman [emperor]?

For this one, you’d probably have to pick your archetype. There’s more than one.

Is it compatible with Wanted Black?

Yes.

Wanted Black is an atmosphere. A cologne. An outfit.

You can wear any outfit that you choose.

Cicero is a very interesting figure as well, a wise statesmen, politician and philosopher.

In his eyes masculinity included eloquence and wisdom, and saw masculinity as moral excellence not as brute strength but that the true measure of a man is virtue and moral, not physical toughness or mere dominance.

I agree because in a way it requires true inner strength to have integrity and be morally just, to have courage, moderate yourself, have self-control and to stand for justice where needed. Many men who are physically masculine in appearance for sure will bend under high mental pressure and spiritual demands that put into test the true strength of their Spirit!

Looking foreward to the new glm. As the zp version never really worked for me however Q version worked perfectly. I recall running the zp version and people got scared of me and kept away both men and women. Never uses the GLM commander i have to say.

Evoking fear within people is the not the point of GLM, however. Definitely not the new version. It’s about standing firm within the self regardless of whatever is happening externally.

Been waiting to try this for trading, I think it could have potential benefits to follow a solid plan and push through fear and psychological pain.

Yes, this is actually a good use case. I saw your post in the HERO: TLTB thread and immediately thought that you might actually love stacking these two. Mix it with the upcoming RICH Trader (which will probably happen during Into the Wonder and you’d have an incredible trading stack.
