Main Disc. Thread - Fire vs. Saint Round 4 [The Battle is On!]

Excellent combos !

Two new products coming soon. AEON + HERO LIGHT. Am excited about these.

The coming title in the HERO series has been confirmed as a multistage. Is AEON a multistage too?

Honestly I hope it isn’t, and I think odds are kinda 50/50 at the moment either way given what we know about the sub from the STKS thread.

Either way I feel like my intuitive sense may have been preparing me for these two and/or ITW through updating my supplement regime:

  • Theanine 400mg up to twice per day
  • Quercetin 500mg once or twice per day, divided doses.
  • (New, added today) Alpha GPC (attempting to prime brain for more focus/lucidity in dream state and meditation) in the form of GeniusPure 55% Alpha GPC, presumably 500mg daily.
  • NAC (originally pure amino, now to be combined in water with bone broth)

May also be experimenting with GABA/AKG mix to see how this improves the synergism. And of course plenty of turmeric.

This is something just started this week, going to try and continue it at least 30 days to see how it impacts my spiritual practice and personal health. Theanine especially helps with the ability to push into theta, I’m adding the GPC to retain awareness during the dive.

Well, I understand what all that love for the East in the West stems from but as we say in Poland: “Cudze chwalicie, swego nie znacie” (“You praise what’s exotic, yet you don’t know your own legacy”). So let’s take a look at the old masters - the ancient Greeks.

Plotinus described mystical union with the One, the ultimate source of all being, as a progressive ascent through various phases, culminating in a state of profound, unified consciousness. This journey involves purification, contemplation, and a return to one’s true, divine nature.

1. Purification (Catharsis):
The soul, initially bound by the material world and its desires, must undergo a process of purification to shed its extraneous accretions and reveal its essential divine core. This involves intellectual and emotional detachment from the mundane.

2. Contemplation (Noetic Contemplation):
Through intellectual purification, the soul engages in contemplation of the Intellect (Nous), the realm of ideas and concepts, and then, of the One, the ultimate source of all being. This involves a shift from discursive reasoning to intuitive understanding.

3. Mystical Self-Reversion:
The soul, having purified itself and contemplated the One, begins to revert to its true self, a divine essence that is one with the One. This involves a turning inward, a focusing on one’s own true nature.

4. Union with the One (Henosis):
Through continued contemplation and self-reversion, the soul achieves a state of mystical union with the One, transcending its individual limitations and becoming one with the ultimate source of all being. This is a state of profound unity and bliss.

5. Return to the World:
While the mystical union is a transformative experience, the soul, still embodied, must return to the world. However, this return is not a descent into the old state of being, but rather a return with a new understanding and a renewed purpose to illuminate others with the light of the One.

Personally, I see AEON as a four-stage process indeed, as it seems to be destined to be a major milestone on the road to Union.

That’s a LOT of theanine. Green tea contains about 7.9 mg of L-theanine per cup.
Cup of black tea contains 24.2 ± 5.7 mg of L-theanine per cup.
To reach 800mg theanine a day, oh wow.

I remember trying the well-known 200mg theanine/100mg caffeine nootropic stack years ago, and it was too strong.

When I did some research it said up to 200mg 2x daily.
Only, I forget to take it most of the time.
Didn’t feel to much from two doses.

L-Theanine is a non-essential amino acid. It is not stored in the body and is readily excreted through the kidneys. A person can safely take up to 1,000mg a day.

I’ve taken up to 800mg a day myself, but now at 150 to 200mg daily. It binds to copper which is why I personally use it.

I used to get it from NaturalStacks.com. the “Smart Caffeine” blend. I didn’t stick with it because I enjoyed drinking black coffee or Bulletproof coffee too much and the caffeine from that would skew the ratio too much haha.

Therapeutic doses can vary wildly in different clinical trials. Although it’s not a hard and fast rule for me to do two, it is within the bounds of known trials. There actually is no specific GRAS dosage. webmd suggests “no more than 500 mg daily”, and yet we have studies for example like this one which found no adverse effects on up to 4000 mg/kg of body weight per day in rats for 13 weeks, while a 2018 study “found that people reported having greater sleep satisfaction after taking 450–900 mg of L-theanine daily for 8 weeks”.

So greater than 400mg daily is definitely not only possible but has been studied before. I wouldn’t exceed 2 within 24 hours myself, but it probably wouldn’t have any problematic effects other than peeing out the excess, GI issues or drowsiness. So far things have been as expected for me, no issues.

Edit: I should mention other than the interesting dream effects, theanine and curcumin/turmeric both have useful cytokine modulating effects which made it attractive as an anti inflammatory (especially in combination with other synergetic stuff like the other things I have in that stack)

I am just astonished by the amount, but now that you point out the additional use cases, it makes more sense. I am not saying this is anywhere near toxic levels. What I am curious about is if you’ve tested these higher dosages with your attention span/intensity in meditation and when coding. Do you feel like the theanine really helps you focus more intensely and for longer periods of time? Have you combined it with coffee before?

I purchased the 400ng tablets at the start of this week, after a party celebrating a friends half centenary. I had not had the best sleep the night before, originally the intent was just to find a milk thistle blend but when I saw the various theanine dosages having tried it back during my years in NZ (10+ years ago) I decided to give it another go. TBH I would have preferred melatonin, which is a more potent anti-oxidant, but it’s prescription only in our country.

When I got home I took 400mg with Quercetin and a liver support supplement. I noticed the improvement fairly quickly, but it wasn’t till later I made the connection with improvements in the REM cycle and dream vividness. Discussions with ChatGPT clued me in to the cytokine modulation / anti-inflammatory effects and I began to develop a stack based on ideas I’d already explored around NAC.

The intent with the stack above other than the GABA boost (which helps meditation) is to create a focused, inflammation reductive (including neuroinflammatory), calming general effect, as well as benefit from some of the restorative effects of glutathione precursors like NAC, and prime the system for eventually burning off inflammatory cytokine rich fat without suffering as much ill effects. That’s the general idea anyway. I may need to tweak the formula a bit, but so far it seems to be helping, and the dream enhancement is a nice side effect.

(edit: probably wise to continue any further discussion elsewhere so as not to derail the thread)

Yeah I prefer the single title format too these days. But I do wonder whether after working for over 4 years on this title, will as get 1 stage per year lol.

Of course that doesn’t have to necessarily translate to that and it would be more impressive to get one simple light title out of all that development.

Now that’s Zero Point in Polish.

If AEON is the “successor” to Khan Black, as has been alluded to previously, I doubt it will be a single stager.

Me too. Given that Hero: the Light that Blinds will be a 4-stager and yet it was AEON that was called a revolutionary title that Fire has been working for years.

Khan: AEON?
Khan Black: AEON?

It would be nice to have more titles in the Khan series since we have many in the Emperor line now.

We’re working very hard on the titles, everyone. Possibly sometime next week. Given the delay, I’ll take questions on HERO: The Light That Blinds to help you develop your stacks (or see if you’re even interested) but only to an extent.

#1 question being asked – yes, it will be more compatible with romance titles. However, the HERO line is and always will be about virtuous and deep mastery. I am not accusing anyone of anything, but in my opinion, these two topics SHOULDN’T actually conflict unless you are consciously aware that your romance tactics are manipulative and / or somewhat unethical.

The leadership and scripting geared toward mastery in HERO Origins alone SHOULD generate more romantic interest from people you’d actually want to date long-term, because they are aligned with those concepts. If you’re detecting a battle within the self due to a “conflict” between HERO’s higher concepts and your romance stack, you should first ask yourself if your romance tactics are based upon truth and authenticity.

This doesn’t mean that you have to walk around with a bleeding heart. I mean more like, take a simple situation where a potential romantic partner is asking about what they really mean to you. If you are indeed, simply looking for fun and romance and nothing serious but you instead lie and say that there’s a chance for long-term potential, then you’ll obviously experience internal conflict about what you’re trying to become and what actions you’re taking.

But that’s the thing. HERO is about mastery. The one who masters the self would be able to live a life of virtue while still having fun romantic encounters. That being said, The Light That Blinds does have less overt virtue scripting, as we’re hoping those who are truly interested would run them somewhat sequentially, starting with HERO Origins. But, it is still charged with the essence of transcendence and mastery.

I was flame and stone,
wind between the stars and sea—
now I am the gift.

I can attest to this, at least with HeO.
The worst case scenario is having your stack feel kitchensink-ish.

Will HLB have physical/combat scripting like in HeO? or will it focus more on mastery?
Edit: Will it have survival instinct too? I just remembered HeO has that in it.

What are the top 2 things it’s geared towards? Is Hero Origins getting the updated tech, will these 2 titles synergize with each other?

Also my question, as that is the main thing that turns me off from using HeO, due to it feeling superfluous and irrelevant to my current lifestyle.
