Is there a way to download my journal and then delete the thread?

Philosophy, Communication, Psychology, Hypnotherapy and NLP. I’d be the ultimate sub-writer. And yet I ended up in IT.

I got the name as my military callsign because I always love talking about all the big questions in life, can go into far too much detail on the simple ones, and generally have a very cynical view of humanity (I prefer saying that if I don’t expect much from people they have more opportunities to pleasantly surprise me) so my thoughts can go dystopian. The name stuck and is now part of who I am.

But that’s an entirely different question.

Yeah I have tonnes of people tryna do covert nlp on me most recent one was energy but said as ADHD. They can sound the same if pronounced a certain time way and fast enough.

I knew a young woman once who was terrified of going outside because she was convinced people were always watching her, judging her. The (sad) truth of the matter is that this is very common and the vast majority of people are far too busy thinking about how they are being perceived and judged to have any time left to do any perceiving and judging. Of course, I don’t know your situation, but…

@FireDragon 's solution is good. I also know that you can save a Web page in its entirety on your computer.

Open the thread in a browser on your PC and you can go to the drop down menu: File → Save Web page. Just make sure you have all your posts in the thread open before you save.

I think that would work but I haven’t tried on the Web pages on this forum.

no it’s not right. there is always something missing. but maybe you have to scroll down and do it twice or more to get the whole thread saved. But he is using a mobile phone and thats also a problem with my solution.

@FireDragon - Yes you have to open all the posts (by scrolling down). And make sure all posts are open.

A tedious affair for long threads indeed.

We don’t delete entire threads. We can “anonymize” your account, which changes the username, IP address, passwords, etc. Then, the thread is locked and within a day, falls into obscurity.
