Increasing sports skill

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. I just finished my second cycle of limitless and I believe it has increased my sports performance. For example, I play a couple rounds of bowling mind you I go every few years but my points increased by 50 the last couple of games I have played.

I also play tennis and my game has improved with better stroke technique and serves. I am looking to improve my tennis skills and my goal is to be invited to a tournament. Is there another sub that will help improve my skills even more or should I keep continuing limitless?

Limitless will certainly help. You could try Spartan if you’re serious about overall fitness and sports development, it’ll improve physicality and competitive mindset.

One interesting one is Hero… although that’s quite the all encompassing title so make sure you align with it’s major components before deciding to run it (heavy virtue scripting, light spirituality, daily practice of anything like tennis, a sense of “mastery” that you acquire over time, etc)

I’m not at all surprised that Limitless improved your bowling. Bowling is a very intellectual sport. It’s about aim, precision, angles, pre planning. It doesn’t have a “strength” component beyond just being strong enough to make your shots.

Meanwhile tennis is a competitive sport. It’ll require a lot more strength, cardio, precision, and ultimately psychological warfare/strategy.

Thank you @Jouissance for your suggestions. Spartan definitely sounds like a good title to try for improving my tennis skills. I am currently running HOT and it says it will work synergistically with Spartan. I will probably create a custom with those two cores.

I read the hero sales page and it does seem a bit heavy on the scripting aspect as well as it would require to be on your stack for a while to see results. Have you tried this core?

Yeah I’ve tried Hero. It makes me a much better wrestler which activates the combat scripting.
I didn’t realize you were a girl. In that case, even though Hero is technically gender neutral, I think Spartan is a better choice for you!

Oh now that I think about it I remember actually playing tennis or racquetball or something on Hero, and in my mind I thought “this is a sword” while holding my racquet and that activated some scripting in Hero too.

Start with Spartan tho haha

Thanks again @Jouissance. Yes Hero has some masculine traits that I don’t really want to adhere. How long did you use Spartan for? I’m still new to subs and trying to figure out how long to stick to a core. I’m trying not to hop around too much.

Haven’t personally used Spartan much but it’s the physical fitness and performance sub. That and Emperor Fitness.

Legacy of the Spartan, is a physical shifting to sculpt a perfect body and improvements at the level of your current activity level.

Spartan can help, once you got a healthy body it will definitely improve your sport skill as well.

Will using Spartan increase my tennis skills overall? Limitless has increased my precision and aim of ball placement and I’m hoping that Spartan will increase that ability along with endurance and other skills needed to place in a league. I am not able to run limitless and Spartan at the same time as I am also running HOM and HOT.

HoM increases your chance of getting invited to tennis tournament.

May i ask what traits from it you don’t want?

I used Hero Origins for 12 cycles.

Apart from the invincibility scripting, living your moral values & the push towards mastery, it didn’t feel like your usual “masculine” alpha type of sub. The focus is more towards mastery & dedication instead. It’s perfect for someone who wants to dive deep into a sport like tennis.

If you don’t want some of the scripting, it won’t manifest in a way that you don’t like.
Even now I still don’t care about the heroic courage from HeO, simply because I don’t believe in it.
The sub didn’t force me to become what I didn’t want to be.

I understand if you don’t want to use HeO though, it’s not really a sub for everyone.

Spartan is also a great choice for what you want. It will help you increase your endurance, hand-eye coordination etc. Experiment around and see if it can replace Limitless for what you want or not.

Thank you @Viktor for your response. From reading the information page, I sort of got a warrior arch type vibe, which is to me more masculine. I find myself to be competitive and more so than many other women I know. There is a fine line between the energies of masculine and femininity that I try to keep. Also, hero is a bit more advanced, and I don’t think I will utilize its full potential just yet. Do you mind me asking what you used it particularly for?

Is it only good for one particular craft? If I were to use this, how would this affect my stack?

Yes, I can understand how you look at it that way.
The description does have a masculine vibe to it.
HeO is also a big sub. It’s a good idea to hold it off for later on.

From my experience, compared to the other subs that i’ve used, HeO is the least masculine/feminine leaning out of them. It just is. It’s a sub about mastery & dedication.
Like how Mogul is focused on building wealth, it’s not masculine/feminine, it’s just a wealth sub.
But I understand how some parts of HeO can be seen as masculine.

There were several reasons.
I used it for the mastery scripting, working out, sword mastery, inner works, virtues, resilience, etc.

But the main one is that it makes me feel very fulfilled.
Mastering my craft, living up to the virtues etc, all contribute to how fulfilling the sub makes my life feel.
When a sub aligns extremely well with who you are & what you want, everything just becomes better.

Other people might have different reactions than feeling fulfilled by HeO, but that’s my personal reason for using it.

From my experience, It’s not limited to only one.
It will help you apply what you’ve learned from one craft to the other.

I’m not sure how it will affect HoM since I’ve never used a sub in the Emperor series.
They shouldn’t contradict each other though.

For HoT, I have never used it either.
But I’ve used WB in the past & it has physical shifting scripting too. I used it alongside HeO for 4 cycles.

If we put the other effects from WB aside, the physical enhancement effects from HeO supplemented the physical shifting from WB really well. You’ll feel both more fit & good looking from the combination. They will stack on top of each other to help you get more motivated & reap more benefits from your training.

Honestly, the more i write, the more i think Spartan would suit you better for now. HeO is great for what you want, but it has a lot of other scripting, especially the ones about virtues, that you might not necessarily be interested in.

Like you said, HeO is also more advanced. it’s one of the densest artisanal subs out there.
I can’t really recommend you to use it in a 3 stack if you’re still new to SC.
Spartan is lighter & more straight to the point.

It’s a great sub though, you should consider using it in the future.

I like this take on Hero.

This is the goal.

This is a very interesting topic in regards “aligning with subs.” I see many qualities in Hero that are instilled in me such as the 7 virtues, however I may not be complete in each of them. If I feel I already possess these attributes would it embellish in me even more so that I would have a mindset and ethics of “Sakurai warrior”? The show Shogun comes to mind (which I highly recommend btw).

I guess I’m using subs to acquire or upgrade skills that I want to improve and in doing so will align overall of the person I want to be. Your talk of aligning with subs is giving me a different perspective on how I should use them…

Thank you so much @Viktor for your insight. It is much appreciated.

Yes, HeO will make you dive deeper into the virtues, especially if you have embraced them beforehand.
It will help you find ways to grow & embody them even more.

In my case, HeO helped me by making me realize how fulfilling it is to live up to those values.
It’s hard to explain what I experienced with words, you just gotta try it and see how it will change you.

Did you mean samurai? i couldn’t find sakurai on google.

If that’s what you’re after, then of course.
HeO will help you find & cultivate your own meaning of the virtues & honor.
It’s up to you to decide what path you want to take.

Yep, using subs that align with you will give you the smoothest path towards your goals.
That’s what i prefer to do nowadays.

You can also experiment with subs that you don’t align with every once in a while.
Some subs don’t align well with me like LBFH & WB, but I found great benefits from embracing what they had to offer.
