Am I a Hardgainer?

So I’ve been lurking on the forums for a while…was looking to get into subs a few years ago, but finally decided to add it to my portfolio for self-improvement. Read up on questions, threads etc to see if there is something to jumpstart the process for me.

Currently, My goal is get an improvement with one singular goal. I am learning how to trade, and I feel like I’m on the verge of a life-changing breakthrough. Only thing I’m lacking is some discipline and focus during the process that I believe Is within my grasp.

I’m in the middle of the 2nd cycle for Ascended Mogul, and followed all the recommendations, took the necessary 5-6 days between the restart; have not had any reconciliation so far…

Basically, I feel like I’ve had no change, no effect whatsoever. Wondering if I am on the hardgainer group.

Thought of adding another sub (Emperor:house of medici) as it goes in-line with what I’m concentrating on, but decided against it for now, to give AM the time to take root/effect.

I’m also working on manifestation/thought process, so was hoping AM would be a good supplement for my process.

Any suggestions, comments? is it too early for any sort of an evaluation at this point and I’m just being impatient?

Was just hoping to notice at least a subtle difference. I will be continuing the process regardless, but wondering of how to enhance it, make it more effective.

Thank you.

what concrete actions have you taken? Have you been journaling? Have you been logging and analyzing your trades? What’s your listening schedule?

Since I started the sub, and in conjunction with it, I implemented a manifestation routine for goal settings. Cleaned up my thought process, added specific visualizations according to a few specific techniques, repetitive thought patterns that have helped me in the past to manifest quickly etc.

Basically just focusing on realizing a single goal.

So I record my trade sessions, but I do binary trading, which is a bit different from more traditional trading, as it is fast paced. You can have 2 dozen trades in a hurry. Doing a lot of demo trading at the moment to nail the setups, and I do feel there is room for improvement, but mostly on the mental side for me, that’s where I make mistakes. I am not journaling on the daily, but I do make “best practices” sheets for myself to follow and re-read.

Listening schedule, every other day, 1 full loop for 21 days, 5 days off etc. I threw in a few 2 full loops during the first cycle, to see if it has any additional effect, but just sticking to 1 full loop going forward. So pretty much sticking to recommended listening schedule.

This can be a symptom of reconciliation. Have you tried journaling about your experience to determine if it’s actually true that your a hard gainer? Until you do that, there is no way for anyone to know. You gotta sit down, and write for a while, introspect about your experience so far, first.

Then you can determine if your a hard gainer or not.

Hard-gainers and stonewallers are rare, so it’s statistically unlikely that you’re one, but it’s always possible.

Hmm. That is a good observation. I guess its something I can definitely try and see if there is something I’m missing with the process internally.

Reconciliation can exhibit itself in different forms of expression, which makes sense…Although, just pondering, wouldn’t that 5-6 days off that I took sort of reset the process hypothetically, and allow me to re-charge the batteries so to speak?

It just feels like I just continued where I left off after restarting the process. Listening to the sub on full loop is quite easy, I don’t really feel any sort of “pain” or get any difficulty.

No, not really, not exactly, read this post by Fire which covers the basic theory of how the subconscious works.

So the thing is, for the “processing queue” to clear, actually takes about a month of no listening. So the washout really just resets you enough so you can continue moving forward, but it doesn’t completely clear your processing queue for most people.

Even after you finish cycle 1 and start cycle 2, you still have a processing backlog from the cycle before it, make sense?

The journaling thing is really thing only thing that you can do to be certain that you’re a hardgainer, and it would be pretty silly to start taking precautions so early in the game.

The final thing is that your sensitivity to change will increase over time.

The final, final thing, is that the protocol for hardgainers includes a ton of journaling to train your mind to start noticing results and to sensitize yourself to the results your getting.

So…you can’t get out of journaling

Hahaha. Everything makes sense, thank you for taking the time to put all of that together. It is very helpful.

I’ve been reading more threads as I created this thread to get a refresher on opinion, and I’m more confident in the fact that I’m most likely not a hardgainer, but just one of those people that needs a longer path for the full effects to take place. I have noticed some fatigue after listening to the sub(however slight it might be depending on the day), so that’s definitely a sign that its getting processed in the mental. So if anyone reads this at anytime, concerned on whether you getting effect, ask yourself a question, do you feel mental fatigue? I definitely do get some “cloud” there.

Going to start journaling every other day and see what I pick up.
